  • Does Roof Insulation Provide Energy Savings? How Much Difference Does It Make?

    Professional roof insulation reduces energy costs by 30-40%. Approximately 25-30% of heating and cooling energy is lost through the roof.   • How Is Roof Waterproofing Done and What Materials Are Used?

The most commonly used materials are: APP/SBS modified bituminous membranes, liquid polyurethane coatings, and EPDM rubber membranes.   • How Many Days Does Roof Repair Take and What Stages Does It Consist Of?

    Roof repair duration varies according to project scope. For a standard villa roof (100-150 m²), the average process: 1-2 days demolition and cleaning, 1 day plumbing inspection/repair, 1-2 days waterproofing application and drying, 1 day thermal insulation installation, 2-3 days new covering installation. A total of 7-10 working days should be anticipated. Mandatory drying times for chemical reactions are critical for quality. Weather conditions can also affect the process; no application is done in rainy weather.

  • What Are the Differences Between Roof Thermal Insulation Materials?

    Three main materials are used in roof thermal insulation: XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) stands out with high compressive strength and water absorption resistance, preferred for inverted roofs. Rock wool provides fire resistance and sound insulation, ideal for pitched roofs. Polyurethane foam (PU/PIR) has the highest thermal insulation value (low lambda), providing maximum efficiency in thin sections. Material selection should be made according to roof type, budget, and climate conditions. The right material should be determined through professional site survey.
