Can existing pools be repaired?
Yes, all types of pool repairs are possible. First, structural analysis and damage assessment are conducted. For crack repairs, epoxy injection technique and carbon fiber reinforcement systems are used. Old insulation layers are removed and new generation polymer-based insulation materials are applied. In coating renovation, damaged ceramics and mosaics are removed, substrate is checked, and screed reinforcement is done if necessary. In structural strengthening, reinforced concrete elements are supported with chemical anchor systems and fiber reinforcements. Each repair project is specifically planned after detailed site survey.
-
How long does pool construction take?
Pool construction duration varies depending on pool dimensions, ground structure, weather conditions, and selected materials. The project scope includes excavation and earthworks, formwork assembly, rebar placement, concrete pouring and curing process, waterproofing application, and ceramic/mosaic tiling stages completed progressively. For structural repair projects, detailed analysis of existing conditions, crack injection, new insulation layers, and coating renovation are applied. Since each project has its own unique conditions and details, the exact timeline is determined after on-site inspection.

What type of concrete is used in pool construction?
Pool construction requires concrete with waterproofing properties, minimum C25-C30 strength grade. Hydraulic binding additives and chemical admixtures providing water impermeability are added to the concrete. Concrete thickness varies according to pool dimensions and is generally determined by the required strength of the load-bearing system. Ribbed steel is used for reinforcement and placed according to structural calculations. Reinforcement layout is designed based on water pressure and ground characteristics.

Why is waterproofing important?
Waterproofing is one of the most critical components of pool structure. By ensuring water impermeability, it prevents water from leaking outside the pool, ground erosion, and damage to surrounding structures. Quality insulation application is reinforced with multi-layer membrane systems, polymer-based waterproofing materials, and special sealing tapes. Insulation failure leads to structural cracks, moisture problems, and significant long-term repair costs. With professional application, the pool's lifespan extends and operational safety increases.
